If you are interested in becoming a member of Braintree Beekeepers’ Association, contact our Membership Secretary, Jan French: firstname.lastname@example.org
The annual subscription is for the calendar year from 1st January to 31 December. New members joining in the middle of the year could join as an Associate Member and then become a full member when they renew their subscription the following January along with existing members. However Associate Membership does not include Bee Disease Insurance (BDI).
The subscription for a single member includes membership of the British Beekeepers Association (BBKA) and Bee Disease Insurance (BDI) for up to three hives. Joint membership subscription (both must reside at the same address) is available and also includes BBKA membership for both members and BDI for up to 3 hives. An additional premium is payable it you have more than 3 hives (see membership form). Only one copy of both BBKA News and Essex Beekeeper magazine are available to joint members. The benefits of BBKA membership are listed on their website.
You can download and complete a Membership form and bring it to one of our meetings. Alternatively, you could come along to one of our meetings and join then.
